Provision of the consultancy to FREDA’s client companies by the German Senior Experts Service (SES) organization

   From 01 to 21 September 2019, the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia invited to Armenia Prof. Dr. Konrad Otto, the German Expert of Senior Experts Service (SES) organization, who acts as a professor for food technology with specialization in beverage and food sensory technologies and has a wide professional experience in the fields of fruit and vegetable processing, production of wet canned, frozen as well as baby foods, honey and beverages (except beer). He is also specialized in the fields of quality assurance (laboratory chemical analysis), organic farming and processing as well as hygiene management. 

   The purpose of the Expert’s visit is to get acquainted with the current production processes of the Fund’s client companies, particularly “Meghri Cannery” CJSC, “Yeghegnadzor Cannery” CJSC and “Gevorkian” Wine Factory, provide them consultancy on canned food production technologies, generate new recipes and modify the existing ones, perform monitoring of the use of additives, check and improve the food safety and quality control procedures, as well as give advice on cost reduction.    

   At the end of the visit, the Expert will submit detailed report on research and consultancy carried out in the Companies.
