THE ROLE OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IN FREDA CLIENT COMPANIES

Highlighting the Role of Corporate Governance in FREDA’s client companies, on March 19, 2019 a trilateral meeting – discussion between the directors of the FREDA’s client companies, FREDA’s representatives and the board members appointed by FREDA in client companies was organized by the Fund. During the meeting the essence of Corporate Governance was presented in details, stating that the corporate governance is an important element for improvement of economic efficiency and growth, as well as for investor’s confidence building. It also aims at increasing the company’s efficiency, its profitability and competitiveness, and forms clear rules of responsibility and accountability.

The discussions were held, during which the members of the client company’s management teams also highlighted the role of above mentioned system in developing companies.
