The Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia (FREDA) participated in “ArmProd EXPO 2018” 17th international specialized exhibition held on 2-4 November 2018 in “Yerevan Expo” Center. The main goal of the exhibition was provision of assistance to Armenian producers in finding new sales markets and new partners, presentation of the economic potential of Armenia, as well as the involvement of new investments.

During the exhibition FREDA presented both its activities and the production of some of its client companies. Particularly, fruit and vegetable preserves and compotes of “Meghri Cannery” CJSC and “Yeghegnadzor Cannery” CJSC were presented at the exhibition. Also, the cardboard boxes for vegetables, fruits, wine, cakes, etc. of “Gofroline” LLC, as well as the equipment operated by “ALKAMAR LLC for cultivation of strawberry, lettuce and other plants by the hydroponic method were presented.

During the exhibition there was a high attendance and interest both in the Fund’s activities and in production of its client companies. Meetings with some companies have already been held, during which the opportunities of further cooperation were discussed in details.
