On 20^th February, 2017 on the occasion of 25 years of Armenian-Austrian diplomatic relations the Embassy of Armenia to Austria in cooperation with Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia (FREDA) organized Armenian organic food and beverage exhibition in the “Armenia” Center of the Embassy. More than 10 Armenian companies supported by the Austrian Development Agency and the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia participated in the event.

Officials from the Austrian Foreign Ministry, Federal Ministry of Finance, Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Austrian Development Agency, Chamber of Economy and Commerce, members of Austrian Parliament, representatives of Vienna municipal authorities, UN and OSCE Ambassadors, representatives of the OPEC Fund for the International Development (OFID), representatives of Austrian wholesale and retail companies and other businessmen attended the event. 

During the event the guests were offered Armenian food and drinks and overall there was a high interest in the companies’ products.

It’s worth to mention that the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia highlights its attendance to such events, as they provide an opportunity to its client and potential client companies to create new long-term business relations, as well as strengthen their positions in the overseas markets by expanding sales volumes.
