Participation in 8th Wolves Summit
The director of the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia participated in 8th edition of Wolves Summit held in Warsaw on 23-24 October 2018.
The Wolves Summit is a conference for startups, investors, entrepreneurs, corporate representatives, etc. It is aimed at creating growth opportunities for emerging firms and to acquaint them with the investment environment as well as offers new firms the opportunity to present their ideas. The employment of innovative solutions and matchmaking tools enable participants to get involved in many networking activities, reach a narrow circle of potential business partners, scheduling 1:1 meetings with them.
The 8th edition of the Wolves Summit was focused on CEE region, during which many incredible, eye-opening panel discussions and keynotes on all the trending topics regarding innovation were held. During this edition 2987 1:1 meetings were organized. During the Summit Mr. A. Kalantaryan held meetings with the representatives of European Investment Bank, PARP-0 Groupa PRF, enterprise forum of Poland, startups from Estonia, Poland and Bulgaria.
One of the most productive meetings was held with Mr. Zbignew Gluchowski, Fund Manager for Polish International Development Fund, where the parties agreed to continue the cooperation between the two Funds and jointly co-finance Polish Companies that plan to make investments in Armenia rural sectors.
