According to the agreement reached during the meeting of the Armavir region Governor and the Director of the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia held on 15 August 2017, on 12 September 2017 a working team of the Fund’s staff members and consultants headed by the Fund’s Director Aleksandr Kalantaryan conducted a meeting with Parandzem Karapetyan, the Head of the Staff of Armavir regional administration and a number of entrepreneurs from the region. The meeting aimed at becoming familiar with investment programs in the region and providing funding to those, which are found in compliance with the Fund’s guidelines.

Mr. A. Kalantaryan delivered an opening speech and introduced the Fund’s activities to the staff of the regional administration and the entrepreneurs. A discussion was initiated, during which the entrepreneurs receive answers to their questions. It was agreed to meet again later in order to have a more detailed discussion with those entrepreneurs whose investment programs comply with the Fund’s guidelines. In addition, a film on the Fund and its operations was shown during the meeting.
