On 22 April 2016 Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia (FREDA) participated in <<Invest Armenia 2016 >> business forum, organized by BPA (Business Partners of Armenia) in cooperation with the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia (UMB (E) A). The Forum took place at TUMO Center  for Creative Technologies.

The main topics of the Forum were Armenia-Iran-EEU cooperation programs and perspectives, Predictions on the Armenian Economy for 2016-2018, the sales opportunities of the Armenian products in International Market Chains.

The main goal of the Forum was to represent the investment opportunities and perspectives of Armenia, also to encourage foreign businessmen to do business in Armenia.

During the Forum their speeches delivered RA Minister of Economy Artzvik Minasyan,  President of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia (UMB (E) A) Arsen Ghazaryan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Ayvazyan. The Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia was represented by Director Aleksandr Kalantaryan.
